A total of 1,760 people have appeared this morning for the access tests for the public offer of employment (OPE) that Renfe has called for 2023 with the aim of incorporating 300 new workers in the manufacturing and maintenance area.
The face-to-face tests, which have been carried out in Madrid and Barcelona, have consisted of a psychotechnical test together with one of knowledge about railway maintenance, which has consisted of a specific part depending on the specialty and another common part for all. The applicants met the specific requirements detailed in the call, which can be consulted on the operator’s website.
Of the 300 positions to be filled, 270 are at the state level and 30 for Catalonia, and correspond to different specialties: 167 adjuster-assembler positions (20 of them for Catalonia), 75 of electricity-electronics (10 of them for Catalonia), 30 of machine tools, and 8 of supplies.
In total, Renfe has launched a Public Employment Offer for 2023 that will allow 1,250 workers to be incorporated into the Renfe workforce: 500 new commercial entry operators, 450 entry machinists and 300 manufacturing and maintenance entry operators.
All jobs included in the OPE will have as a reference the working and remuneration conditions established in the collective agreement of the Renfe group.
