At least one Palestinian has died after being shot by Israeli soldiers during an operation carried out in the Balata refugee camp, located in the West Bank city of Nablus (north), as confirmed by the Palestinian authorities.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has indicated in a message on its Facebook social network account that the deceased, identified as Fares Abdelmonein Mohamad Hashash, 19, died at the Rafidia hospital, where he was admitted with several shots to the chest, the abdomen and lower extremities.
According to information collected by the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli Army has carried out a raid in the place to try to arrest a suspect, an operation that has led to a series of incidents in which four Palestinians have been injured, including a child.
