You should know that this is not the next game in the saga or anything like that, because Halo: The Rubicon Protocol is the new novel of the franchise. The study has already revealed important details of this publication, such as its release date, its synopsis and its author.

When will it debut and what will it be about? Halo: The Rubicon Protocol?
Halo: The Rubicon Protocol is a novel written by Kelly Gay, an American writer who has worked on several occasions with the Xbox franchise. Now he will return with a new story that fans can enjoy from next August 9.
The book will be distributed in physical and digital format. It will also have an audiobook adaptation. The interested you can read the first chapter or listen to a part of the novel, which will debut for now only in English.
The book will take us to 2559, 6 months before the Master Chief wakes up and the events of halo-infinite. The Banished are up to their old tricks and are already investigating Zeta Halo, while the UNSC struggles to survive without clear leadership.
“Now, survival in this strange, alien environment – whether for Spartan supersoldiers or those who never thought they’d see battle up close – is measured day by day against a relentless and brutal adversary who always has the upper hand.
