In June, the family of murdered Rohingya social leader Mohib Ullah, president of the Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights, accused sympathizers of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) armed group for his death.
The family denounced at the time that the group intended to become a dominant force within the camps through a campaign of violence against community leaders.
ARSA, it should be added, has been denounced on several occasions by NGOs such as Amnesty International for carrying out massacres against Hindu civilians in Burmese Rakhine state, home to Rohingya Muslims, which the group has categorically denied.
