A Russian missile hit a Ukrainian military facility in the Chervonohrad district on Tuesday night, the administration of the Lviv region, near Ukraine’s western border with Poland, announced.

“During the air alert, two explosions occurred on the territory of a military installation in the Chervonohrad district. The scale of the destruction is still being determined,” the head of the regional military administration, Maksim Kozitskii, reported in his official profile. from Telegram.

The balance of victims is still unknown. Kozitskii also added that Russian troops have launched at least eight cruise missiles from the east, some of them shot down by the Air Defense Forces, according to the Ukrinform news agency.


Previously, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported on its official Facebook profile that Russian troops have launched missiles from the Caspian Sea, even deploying Tu-95 strategic bombers.

“Seven out of eight missiles were shot down by the anti-aircraft defense of the Ukrainian air force. Six missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft missile troops and one was shot down by an Air Force aircraft fighter,” they said.
