A man has killed a young man and injured three other people this Friday in an attack with a knife at the Sillim subway station, in the southeast of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
The assailant drew the gun near exit 4 of the subway station at around 2:00 p.m. local time, killing a man in his 20s in an alleyway near the subway entrance, according to the Yonhap News agency.
The other three men have been injured while running down the same alley and have had to be sent to a hospital for treatment, but according to reports, one of them was in a life-threatening condition.
Police have shortly after arrested a man in his 30s at the scene as a suspect and have already launched an investigation to determine the motive for the crime and the relations between the suspect and the victims.
