A magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck near the Tanimbar Islands in southern Indonesia on Monday. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the telluric movement produced at 17:47 GMT at a depth of 95.2 kilometers.
At the moment there are no reports of possible victims or material damage, as well as tsunami alerts.
