Ukrainian authorities reported this Friday that a girl has died and five other people have been injured after a Russian drone hit a multi-story residential building in the Ukrainian capital, kyiv.
“A girl born in 2009 died. Five people were injured. Four people were treated at the scene and one was hospitalized,” said the mayor of kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, in a message published on his Telegram account.
Ukrainian emergency services have set up a mobile tent so that the building’s residents, who number 100, can receive assistance. The impact of the drone has caused a fire that has already been controlled, according to the Unian news agency.
