A bombardment launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia has left three civilians dead and nine wounded on the second day of Eid Al Fitr, in residential neighborhoods in the Mawza district of Yemen.
The victims are a twelve-year-old boy, an adult man and his sister, local sources have reported to the Yemeni agency Sabanews.
The injured have suffered various injuries, some of them serious, while medical sources have indicated that the number of deaths may increase due to the serious injuries being treated.
The war in Yemen pits the internationally recognized government, now represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and supported by the aforementioned international coalition, and the Houthis, who control the capital, Sanaa, and areas in the north and west of the country.
