5 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Israel Police has reported this Wednesday that a 19-year-old boy has been injured after suffering a stabbing due to an alleged robbery in the city of Bam Yam shortly before the beginning of the Pesaj holiday, the Jewish Passover.
The young man has subsequently been transferred to a nearby medical center to receive treatment and the Israeli police authorities have already launched an investigation to find out what happened, as reported by the newspaper ‘The Jerusalem Post’.
Tensions in the region have increased in recent hours after the Israeli military stormed and attacked worshipers inside the Al Aqsa Mosque, after which projectiles were fired from the Gaza Strip.
More than 400 people were arrested at dawn after the incursion of the Israeli Army into the mosque, which also coincides with the month of Ramadan and which adds to the great event of Easter, the night of the Seder, which this year is celebrated on Wednesday.
