Nintendo has announced the end of the services of its digital store (eShop) for game consoles Wii U and the family Nintendo 3DSwhich will stop allowing purchases from the end of March next year.
The Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS will be phased out starting on August 29when it’s it will not be possible to use a card to add funds to an account. It will still be possible to redeem the download codes.
The March 27, 2023 The possibility of redemption will also disappear as well as the making of purchases and the use of funds associated with the Nintendo account, as reported by the company it’s a statement.
After the date, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS users they will only be able to download games and downloadable content that they have already purchased, receive program updates and access online games. The funds must then be used to purchase content for the Switch console.
