July 18 (Portaltic/EP) –

Snapchat has since this Monday a web version which users of the subscription service from a small set of countries will first be able to access, where they will find the same messaging functions as in the mobile application along with a new privacy screen.

Snap has announced the arrival of its Snapchat social network on the web, where it is already available at United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealandwith the intention of extending it to the global community.

The Snapchat website is part of the subscription to the social network that the company announced at the end of June, and that offers new features, exclusives, in tests or even before its official launch.

Access to Snapchat Web is done through web.snapchat.comwhere subscribers can log in with their Snapchat username and password, to find their conversations right where they left off on the mobile app.

Snapchat Web includes all messaging features of the mobile application, such as chat reactions or responses, and the lenses. The company has confirmed in a statement that it will also introduce lenses for video calls and the ability to send Snaps directly from the computer.

The web version includes as a novelty a privacy screen which will hide the Snapchat window if clicked to perform another task.
