At least eleven people have died this Monday in a traffic accident in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, in which a tanker truck and several other vehicles have been involved.
As reported by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, there are no tire marks at the scene of the incident, so the authorities will carry out a technical inspection of the vehicles.
The first indications suggest that the tanker was to blame for the accident by hitting another vehicle, although it has not yet been possible to verify that the truck had braking problems, according to the Kompas television network.
Likewise, the preliminary report of the facts indicates that the tanker truck had also run over several motorcycles before finally collapsing with a vehicle stopped in front of a red light.
