July 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The 30 occupants of a plane that covered the route between the Somali cities of Baidoa and Mogadishu, the capital, have been rescued alive this Friday after the device crashed during the landing maneuver.

The Somalia Airport Authority has confirmed that all passengers and crew have been removed alive from the device, without the causes of the event being known at the moment. The plane belongs to the Jubba Airways airline, according to the Somali television network SNTV.

The Somali state news agency, SONNA, has published a video after the incident in which a large column of smoke can be seen at the airport. It has also confirmed that the 30 occupants have been rescued before the flames destroyed the aircraft.
