The Russian Government has assured this Tuesday that it has repelled an attack with unmanned boats by Ukraine against a ship in the Black Sea, before stressing that the event has ended without victims.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out tonight an unsuccessful attempt to attack the patrol boat ‘Sergei Kotov’ with two unmanned boats,” said the Russian Ministry of Defense, before specifying that the ship “carries out navigation control tasks in the southwestern part of the Black Sea, about 370 kilometers from Sevastopol.”

Thus, he has stated in a statement published on his Telegram account that “the two enemy vessels, operated by remote control, have been destroyed by shots with standard weapons from the Russian ship at a distance of between a thousand and 800 meters.”

“There are no victims,” ​​stressed the Russian Ministry of Defense, which has emphasized that “the ship ‘Sergei Kotov’, of the Black Sea Fleet, continues to carry out its tasks.” Ukraine has not yet ruled on what happened.
