The Counter-Strike Major Championship is the most important tournament of Valve’s tactical shooter and for this reason it has fans all over the world. Surely many will be happy to know that soon this competitive event will expand to a region where it has never been held.
as it counts DotEsports, Perfect World wants to ally with PGL to send a proposal to Valve. His goal is for the Counter-Strike Major to be held in December 2024 to take place in Shanghai, China. This tournament is expected to be played in counter strike 2the new installment of the FPS that is about to be released, since its first Major is scheduled to be in 2024.
The big obstacle with which this proposal is found is that Valve seeks that Counter-Strike tournaments have an acceptable schedule for Europe. So this tournament would have to be very late in your local time for the European audience to enjoy it. That being said, it’s possible that Valve will be flexible with this so that Asia has its first Major of Counter-Strike.

If Valve approves the proposal, then it will be the first time that a Counter-Strike Major Championship has been held in Asia. It is worth mentioning that since 2022 there are plans for this tournament to reach China; however, at that time Valve preferred to take the event to Paris, France.
