July 21 (Portaltic/EP) –
Telegram has implemented the publish option Stories on your platform for users subscribed to the option Premiumwhich will offer an ephemeral publication format similar to that of other social networks such as Instagram.
The instant messaging platform, directed by Pavel Durov, already announced last June that it would implement a new format, similar to the one already available on other platforms such as Instagram or Facebook, something that users had been requesting “for years”.
Now, the Stories are officially available on Telegram although, for the moment, they will only be able to publish them users subscribed to the Premium servicewho pay a fee of 4.49 euros per month (in the case of Spain).
However, although only members with a paid plan of the platform can publish Stories, these publications will reach all Telegram users, regardless of the option they are using.
Unlike Meta services, Telegram has introduced some different functions for the Stories. Thus, users can choose how long these ephemeral videos and images will be available, with options ranging from 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours. After this time has elapsed, the publication is deleted.
Another novelty is that Telegram allows create contact lists for each story. That is, users can publish them to a specific contact group, so that those who are not included in it cannot access them. Also, these groups can be stored for future posts.
The Stories will be shown on the circular top of the screen, as they appear on other social networks. Likewise, users will be able to react and respond to posts from other contacts, you can also add text, music, images and see all the stories that have been published archived in the user’s profile.
To access Telegram Stories, users Users will need to download the latest app updateeither for Android via Google play or for iPhone, from the app store.
