( Spanish) — The Minister of the Interior of Peru, Vicente Romero, reported this Wednesday on national chain that six people were arrested and eight people were injured during the protests against the government of Dina Boluarte.
Romero added that one of the detainees had previously thrown a Molotov cocktail at the police and that he is now fully identified.
Regarding the eight people injured, Romero reported that four are civilians and four are police officers.
The minister added that there were no protests in the regions of Piura, Lambayeque, San Martín, Madre de Dios and Ucayali.
