The flames force the road that connects the city of Sevastopol to the Kerch bridge to be cut
July 19 () –
The pro-Russian authorities in Crimea have announced that they plan to evacuate four towns due to a fire at a training camp in the Kirovski district.
“It is planned to temporarily evacuate the residents of four settlements from the area adjacent to the Kirovsky district landfill, that is, more than 2,000 people. An operational headquarters has been deployed, all specialized services are working on the ground,” Crimean Governor Sergei Aksenov has posted on his Telegram channel.
Aksenoz has also reported that the flames have caused the closure of the Tavrida highway, and has explained the alternative route to avoid it.
This highway connects the city of Sevastopol with the Kerch bridge, which links Crimea with mainland Russia, and which was the object of an attack last Tuesday, leaving two civilians dead.
In addition, the governor of Crimea has asked the population to trust only trusted sources of information.
