July 17 (Portaltic/EP) –
Youtube has entered a new function called ‘Stable Volume’ -or stable volume-, that is capable of regulate playback volume intelligentlyso that users do not experience sudden volume rises and falls when moving from one video to another.
The tech giant is implementing smart capabilitiestypically powered through generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various sectors of its servicesas its ‘chatbot’ Bard, to offer users more possibilities and better experiences with their applications.
Now, the video platform is starting to add a new function which apparently is able to regulate the volume of the content being played on the Youtube videos to do it in one linear shape.
This is possible thanks to the feature ‘Stable Volume’as they have shared some users via Redditwho have pointed out that although they are not entirely sure how it works, it appears to be “a normalizer and compressor that equalizes volume so there are no big jumps.”
YouTube now has a feature called “Stable volume.”
I’m not entirely sure what it is, but I think it may be a normalizer and compressor that evens out the volume so you don’t have big jumps in volume between videos and even parts of a video itself.

This new function to which, for the moment, only some users have had access, seeks to balance playback volume intelligently. With this, users will be able to listen to different videos with equal volume and, even, they will be able to listen to different parts of a video with the same volume.
To find this feature, the user must enter the menu of configuration of the video. Next, you should look for the ‘Stable Volume’ option and press the button to turn it on, that is, change its setting to ‘On’.
