Whatever the reason, Twitter now allows you to leave the conversation and do it silently, too. without the other participants being notified. And to do so, it has introduced a button that allows us to ‘untag’ ourselves from it, that is, remove our username so that they cannot mention us and we continue to receive notifications.

For this, we only have to go to ‘tweet’ in which we have been mentioned and click on the three points horizontal that appear in the upper right corner. A menu with different options will then be displayed, but in this case we are interested in the one called ‘Get out of this conversation’.

Clicking on ‘Exit this conversation’ will open a page with information about the consequences to leave her, and two buttons between which we will have to choose: ‘Exit this conversation’, thus confirming our initial intention to leave it, and ‘I changed my mind, I’m staying’, if we finally decide that we want to stay in it.

It should be noted that this option to leave a conversation is available both in the web version like in the mobile version of the social network.
