The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have 65 W fast charging thanks to stacked battery technology

Some time ago we knew that Samsung was going to implement a new technology for batteries of their phones. This new technology, inherited from electric carsconsists of using stacked batteries for their phones. This will bring improvements for fast charging in Samsung phones, which does not stand out especially for being fast in comparison with other brands that charge phones in just 20 minutes.

Samsung implemented the 45W load on the Galaxy Note 10, and it's sparingly repeated on some high-end phones, but this is the fastest charging it currently has. With the stacked battery technologywith which Samsung is carrying out tests, would achieve increase this figure to 65W, a small improvement over the current one. This new type of battery would arrive with the next generation of high-end Samsung phones, possibly the Galaxy S24 Ultra and maybe the S24+. This will allow for slightly faster charging of the 5,000 mAh battery expected for the S24+ and S24 Ultra, which will also feature battery cooling.

Unfortunately, this technology looks like it won't make it to other Samsung devices, at least the most recentsince currently there is a supply limitation of this type of battery.
