Google Bard: the AI of the technological giant arrives in Europe

Google Bard lands in Europe. The artificial intelligence (AI) tool developed by the American technology giant is available from this Thursday on the Old Continent and in more than 40 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Chinese.

In this way, Google intends to compete with Bing, the Microsoft AI tool powered by OpenIA technology that threatens to “retire” the Google search engine, given its great success. Google Bard will allow you to change the tone and style of responses in five options: simple, long, short, professional or informal.

The new Google chatbot is capable of reproducing and understanding colloquial Spanish from all Spanish-speaking countries. “Many times I ask him to give me an answer in Argentine Spanish or in another Spanish and Bard can generate that content. He even answers me with colloquial Argentinian expressions,” said Romina Stella, Bard’s product manager.

Another novelty is that Google users will be able to “listen to the response” given by the chatbot, in addition to changing the name of the conversations they have had with the system.
