It was on the official account of the company on Twitter Japan that some illustrations were shown with examples of what should and should not be done in some Nintendo Switch ports.

“Inside the game card slots, there are contactors that read the game cards. If you try to clean this area with a cotton swab or insert a damaged game card, you could affect the card reader. Do not touch the inside of the game card. game card slot,” the message reads.

In addition, Nintendo gave the correct way to clean said slot in case it gets dusty:
“If dust gets into the game card slot, use a vacuum cleaner to clean it. Do not blow into it. Saliva can stick to the contactors and cause rust or corrosion.”
As you can see, Nintendo continues to share tips so that all gamers with a Switch can take care of it properly and avoid unpleasant situations.
