Three of the deceased were members of the Manbij Military Council
July 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least five people have been killed, including three children, after a car bomb exploded in the village of Shawa, east of the Syrian city of Aleppo.
The explosion occurred next to a mechanical workshop, as published by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on its Twitter account.
A second car bomb has exploded in the city of Manbij, controlled by the Manbij Military Council, a militia integrated into the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and which has resulted in the death of three of its members.
Led by the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) militia, the SDF seized Manbij in 2016 from Islamic State, in a milestone in the fight against the terror group in Syria.
