Nobody wins Powerball lottery in the US and prize amounts to 650 million dollars

Nobody had the winning ticket for the Powerball lottery in the United States, bringing the prize to 650 million dollars.

Monday’s lottery will be the ninth largest in the history of that contest. For Saturday’s prize no one got the winning numbers: white 7, 23, 24, 32, 43 and red 18, organization officials said on Sunday. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

No one has won the Powerball since April 19, when a person in Ohio walked away with $252.6 million. There have been 34 consecutive calls without a winner.

The odds of winning — one in 292.2 million — seeks to accumulate jackpots that attract many players. The largest Powerball prize so far was $2.04 billion, awarded last November.

The prize of 650 million is for those who choose to receive the reward in installments over 29 years. Most people prefer to get it all in one hit, which in this case would be $328.3 million.

Powerball is played in 45 US states plus Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
