Alphacool has launched a curious device designed to facilitate the installation of personalized or “custom” liquid cooling systems. Its about “Alphacool ES Orbiter Filling Station”an external module with which the circuit can be directly filled with the refrigerant liquid.
For this, the Alphacool ES Orbiter It has two integrated pumps together with a filtering system to inject the liquid directly into the circuit through a G1/4″ inlet and outlet. In turn, the device is filled through a G1 diameter filling port. The pumps are capable of to generate a liquid flow of 350 liters per hour with a pressure of 0.8 bar.
It includes a 4.5-liter tank with a transparent indicator on the front to be able to control the level of liquid inside. Alphacool advises, however, that only transparent liquids are used, since additives that create matte or pastel effects can permanently damage the device and the cooling components and void your warranty.
Naturally, the Alphacool ES Orbiter Filling Station makes much more sense for users or professionals who need to assemble several liquid cooling systems every so often, since its price of 400 euros does not make it an exactly affordable device for a specific assembly.
