PlayStation Stars is “a new loyalty program that celebrates you, the player, for joining us in this ever-growing gaming experience,” the company said in the blog specializing in the Latin American public.
To become a member, the interested player must register as a member of PlayStationStars, once it is officially launched this year. It will be free and will consist of monthly participation campaigns.
“It simply requires you to play any game to receive a reward, while other campaigns require you to win specific tournaments or trophies or even be the first player to reach platinum in a popular title in your local time zone,” explains PS.
The points that each player reaches can be exchanged for PSN wallet funds, PlayStation Store products, among other rewards. Additionally, members of PlayStation Plus the company’s subscription plan, will automatically earn points when making purchases in the store.

Another of the new Play Station rewards are ‘digital collectible items’, a kind of digital representations of the objects and characters most loved by Play Station players. But also representations of the devices that PlayStation has released throughout its history.
