The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, met this Thursday with his Czech counterpart, Petr Pavel, upon his arrival in Prague, the country’s capital, from Bulgaria, where he also held a meeting with the Head of State, Rumen Radev , and Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov.
It is expected that, in addition to his meeting with the president, Zelenski will also meet with the Czech Prime Minister, Petr Fiala, as well as the presidents of the Parliament and the Senate and members of the Government, among other relevant figures of Czech politics.
Before leaving for Prague, Zelenski has indicated in a message on his Twitter account that he will focus on obtaining greater support in defense matters, as well as the Euro-Atlantic integration process ahead of the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania. .
It also plans to address issues such as “the situation around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, the Ukrainian peace formula and the reconstruction of the country” once the war ends.
