Education in Latin America and the Caribbean

For ECLAC, it is urgent to transform education in Latin America and the Caribbean. Achieving this implies determined action towards overcoming inequalities, which, among other things, includes facilitating transitions between education and work, providing quality education from early childhood, universalizing access to secondary education and addressing gender inequalities. . From the point of view of articulation between various sectors of public policy, it is stated that education is not resolved only in education and that educational financing must be ensured, building a culture of innovation that considers all the actors of the educational community as agents of change, develop cognitive and socio-emotional skills and strengthen digital education.
