The son of former Honduran president Porfirio Lobo, assassinated this week, was buried this Friday in the El Chimbo cemetery, a community in the municipality of Santa Lucía, according to local newspapers.

The body of Said Lobo Bonilla was veiled at the San Miguel Arcángel funeral home and was later taken to the Medalla Milagrosa church in Tegucigalpa, the Honduran newspaper reported. The country.

Said Lobo Bonilla was shot to death on Thursday, leaving a nightclub in Tegucigalpa, along with Luis Zelaya, nephew of the former head of the Armed Forces Romero Vásquez Velásquez, and two other men: Salomón Vásquez Chávez and Norlan Enrique Rivera, the driver of the vehicle.

According to preliminary information from the National Police, published by The Tribunethe massacre was allegedly committed by the Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13.

The newspaper also assures that two sons of former President Lobo were in the same nightclub, one of them would have been lucky not to die in the massacre.
