The FSP Hydro PTM X PRO power supplies arrive with ATX 3.0 and up to 1,200 W



FPS has announced the renewal of its sources FSP HYDRO PTM X PRO with the new HYDRO PTM X PRO ATX3.0 Gen 5. As its name suggests, this new line of power supplies adds compatibility with the ATX 3.0 standard and also includes the 12VHPWR 16-pin connector system.

they arrive with powers of 1,000 and 1,200 W, maintaining certification 80PLUS Platinum with an efficiency of more than 92% under typical load. They are made up of 450C and 105 degree Japanese capacitors, while the 12V distribution is done through a single rail.

The design is 100% modular, and includes a 120mm fan with fluid dynamic bearing and a button to convert it to semi-passive so that it turns off the fan when the source does not have to offer its full power.

All FSP HYDRo PTM X PRO ATX3.0 Gen 5 include protections against short circuits, overvoltage, etc: (OCP/OVP/OPP/SCP/OTP), and have a 130 mm long ATX format. At the moment we do not know its price in euros, but taking into account that the 1,200 W HYDRO PTM PRO ATX3.0 version is around 310 euros, this variant should come for a slightly higher amount.
