The House of vincent jeanbrunMayor of L’Haÿ-les-Roseshas been attacked at dawn this Sunday in a new night of riots throughout France in protest at the murder of Naël, a 17-year-old boy, at the hands of a policeman at a traffic control.
Jeanbrun has denounced that, on the 1:30 in the morning, a group of people has approached his house -where he was not- and tried to set it on fire. At the home were his wife and two of his children.
In the images that have transcended through social networks, you can see the consequences of the small fire that broke out at his home as a result of the attack. While trying to escape and protect themselves from the criminals, the woman and one of her children were injured, Jeanbrun reported.

“A milestone in horror and ignominy was reached last night. My home was attacked and my family was the victim of an assassination attempt. My determination to protect and serve the Republic is greater than ever. I will not back down,” wrote on Twitter.
This Friday, the mayor had the town hall of L’Haÿ-les-Roses protected with barbed wire to prevent protesters from attacking the town hall.

Tonight, at least 719 people were arrested and 45 police officers were injured in the fifth consecutive early morning of riots in France. “Calmer night thanks to the determined action of the forces of order, who have made 427 arrests since the beginning of the evening,” said the French Interior Minister, Gerald Darmaninthrough his Twitter account.
To try to maintain order, the Government had decided to maintain the extensive police force of 45,000 agents deployed in the streets, with a special presence in places like Marseille and Lyon, which had asked for reinforcements in view of the virulence of the altercations that they had suffered the previous night.
