The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced the existence of “armed terrorist militias” made up of Israeli settlers that attack Palestinian civilians.
“We have repeatedly warned that the Israeli occupying state is forming pockets of armed settler terrorist militias in the West Bank and of the influence and dangers of these militias, which are increasing their attacks on defenseless Palestinian civilians, their homes and property,” it warned. the Ministry.
For the Palestinian Authority, “settler terrorism is a direct result of diversifying and generalizing state terrorism.”
For this reason, it has called on the international community to pressure Israel to dismantle these militias and cut off their sources of financing. He has also called for all settler organizations to be included in the lists of terrorist organizations.
He has also expressed his “surprise” at the information about the formation of armed militias by the settlers collected by the Israeli press when the Palestinian authorities had been denouncing their existence for some time and the support given to them by the Israeli Armed Forces and the Government of the first Israeli Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
