Some time ago we echoed some rumors which indicated a possible release of the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D, a new processor that would have the advantages of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D but in a cheaper processor, with fewer cores and with a greater focus on Gaming than the higher-end processor already had.
However, we are facing a rather big problem, and that is that, in the absence of confirmation from AMD in terms of global terms, it seems that this processor will be sold solely and exclusively through Micro Centera store that only exists in the United States.
This means that these processors can only be purchased in the United States –at least in the absence of confirmation from AMD that this chip will reach the global market—supposedly for being a limited edition. Anyway, the source is Micro Center itselfso that, being a store, always interested in giving the maximum image of exclusivity possible.
Among the specifications of this processorwe will find 6 cores and 12 threads Zen 3 with 3D V-Cache, which increases its total capacity to a whopping 96MB of cache memory. This chip will be launched in the United States on July 7 at a price of $229.99.
