The Pakistan Army has announced the dismissal of three senior officials, including a lieutenant general, over failures to protect military installations attacked during protests in May following the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a case. for alleged corruption.
The director general of the Pakistani Army Public Relations Service, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhri, has detailed that in total disciplinary measures have been taken against 15 officers, including three major generals, while the granddaughter and son-in-law of two retired generals have been arrested in the framework of investigations.
