Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has announced a new gaming subscription service for its virtual reality headsets. Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest Pro. Meta Quest+ or Meta Quest Plus is the name of this method of payment for games that is inspired by other subscription services that have been on the market for years, although this time oriented towards virtual reality.
Meta Quest+ will offer users of the service two games to redeem each month, these games are added to the player’s library and accumulate, so each month the user will have more games without losing access to the previous ones.
Of course, to maintain access to the redeemed games, it is necessary to maintain the subscription to Meta Quest +.
The first games coming to the service in July will be Pistol Whip, a virtual reality FPS, and the retro arcade game Pixel Ripped 1995. This will be followed in August by Mothergunship:Forge and Walkabout Minigolf.
In addition to the $7.99 subscription, there will be the option to pay for a year at once for $59.99. In addition, those who register for the service after July 31 will be able to enjoy the first month for $1. At the moment, the service is not available in Spain.
