Just over a month after its launch, the ASUS ROG Ally has already received the first third party accessories for this console. Specifically, Syntech has announced a 6-in-1 dock for the ROG Ally, giving it many more connectivity options including USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and even an RJ45 for network connectivity. Along with them, two rubber covers for the analog joysticks are also included.
Another of the functions of this Syntech dock is to serve as a support to keep the console vertical. In fact, in our ASUS ROG Ally Review we already commented that only a small cardboard support was included and that a base and a dock would help improve the functionality and connectivity of the device.
Specifically, we have an HDMI 2.0 with 4K output at 60 Hz, three USB-A 3.0, a USB-C 3.0 and an RJ45 with Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
By using a standard USB-C port, the Syntech 6-in-1 is also compatible with Valve’s Steam Deck. However, it seems that it is not compatible with devices like the Aya Neo, although this is possibly due to the shape of the support and not the connectivity.
The price of this USB-C dock for the ASUS ROG Ally is €39.99
