The Ibex is trading almost flat in the mid-session, holding 9,400 points

The Ibex 35 traded with a slight decrease of 0.04% towards the mid-session, so that at 12:00 noon it stood at 9,427.8 points, recovering part of the ground lost during the opening, when it traded with a drop of 0 .12%

Investors thus remain attentive once again to the intervention of the vice president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Luis de Guindos, who yesterday warned that an economic slowdown and more interest rate rises are coming.

In the United States, the Wall Street Stock Exchange returns to activity today, after being closed yesterday for the celebration of Juneteenth (Liberation Day), with investors also attentive to the intervention of the president of the Federal Reserve Bank (Fed) of St. Louis, James Bullard.

In this context, Iberdrola led the increases in the Stock Market (+1.32%), ahead of Endesa (+1.10%), Ferrovial (+1.06%), Acciona EnergĂ­as Renovables (+0.89%) and Grifols (+0.81%).

On the opposite side were Fluidra (-3.82%), Sacyr (-3.71% due to the ex-dividend effect), ArcelorMittal (-2.38%), Acerinox (-1.52%), Colonial (- 1.51%) and Cellnex (-1.10%).

In the rest of Europe, only London was trading positive (+0.05%), with Frankfurt registering a decrease of 0.53%; Paris, 0.27%; and Milan, 0.39%.

A barrel of Brent was trading at $76.61 towards the mid-session, 0.68% more, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) reached $72.09, 0.43% more.

The yield of the Spanish bond with a maturity of 10 years reached 3.407% in the mid-session, from 3.443% on Monday. The risk premium thus fell one point, to 91.6 basis points.

In the foreign exchange market, the euro appreciated 0.07% against the dollar, up to 1.0929 dollars for each euro.
