“Bethesda games have been published on PlayStation for over a decade. They perform better on PlayStation, they work better and they sell better. Xbox and especially Phil Spencer have no right to take it away from us,” reads part of the petition that was posted on change.org.
From the perspective of its author, the exclusivity of Starfield it will hurt not only PlayStation, but the entire gaming community as well. For some reason, he also believes that “Xbox and its 12 dedicated players don’t deserve Starfield nor any exclusivity”.
The reason? He thinks Xbox gamers have been arrogant and annoying since the Xbox Games Showcase. “They do not stop sharing news of Starfield telling us ‘buy yourself an Xbox,'” added the player.
His arguments go further and ensures that if Starfield came to PlayStation, then it would not only run at 30 fps, because “they would force Todd Howard to optimize it correctly.” In addition, he claims that Xbox has not paid enough attention to the game and its technical section.
Due to all this, the player believes that all Bethesda titles should be exclusive to PlayStation, since they would have the backing of Sony. Finally, the author invited players to protest in various stores, such as GameStop, on the day of the launch of Starfield.
