NVIDIAin addition to graphics cards for desktop computers, it also has solutions for servers and data centers. These solutions are focused on offering greater performance in the most common and user-demanded tasks that these data centers have to face, including Artificial Intelligence that has been so fashionable lately. To cope with these tasks NVIDIA has given its memory accelerator HBM3 faster and now it’s also said which has requested a sample from SK Hynix of next generation HBM3E.
SK Hynix is the HBM3 memory supplier of the NVIDIA H100 based on Hopper, according to we read in BusinessKorea now also the manufacturer is preparing a batch of HBM3E memory next generation. This lot has been requested by NVIDIA for evaluation purposessurely to offer more speed to your accelerators with this most recent memory or Maybe it’s an upcoming model that I’m working on. This memory HBM3E from SK Nynix works at 8Gbps and is expected to be available for mass production for the first half of 2024.
So we may not be able to see final products including this new version of HBM3E memory until well into next year. Although with the samples delivered for the middle of this year perhaps we can know some advance of the next NVIDIA products for servers and data centers.
