The Ugandan Army has increased the death toll to 41 from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) attack against a school, of which 37 are students, three are community members and one more is the security guard of the school.
The Army spokesman, Felix Kulayigye, has assured that the authorities are still looking for the assailants to rescue the students who are still kidnapped, according to statements collected on video by the Ugandan newspaper ‘Daily Monitor’.
The attack took place last Friday night at the Mpondwe Lhubiriha private secondary school in this border town with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the main area of action of this militia, one of the most violent on the continent, which had its origins however on Ugandan soil.
