Park Beyond Launch Trailer, Amusement Park Simulation Game

If this summer, in addition to going to an amusement park, you want to build one, Bandai Namco can give you a hand with Park Beyond, a simulator developed by Limbic Entertainment (Tropico 6) whose launch trailer reminds us that it is already available with versions for PS5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam). The title is shipped in a standard and special edition called Impossified, which for 119.99 euros includes, among other items, a desktop figure of a multipurpose wagon and the annual pass that is separately priced at 29.99 euros.

Park Beyond is an amusement park simulator that, in addition to a mode sandbox it offers a campaign mode that emphasizes the story, and that also serves as a touchdown. Park Beyond’s narrative puts players in the shoes of an amusement park manager who is hired by a failing company to help it stay afloat. In the team of this company we find Phil, an enthusiastic veteran in the parks, Izzy, a strict but affable executive, the engineer Sofía Flores, and a series of characters that will help build a successful and profitable amusement park company. .

In every story there has to be an antagonist and in Park Beyond it is Giles Hemlock, an exiled British prosecutor from a wealthy family. Players who are not interested in the story can go directly to the mode sandbox and give free rein to your imagination. This mode allows you to remove any limitations or design a difficult challenge to measure.

When players set out to build an amusement park, they will have at their disposal a piece-by-piece modular construction system, so it will be possible to decorate the entire park and build it from scratch. “You can start with the tiniest wall, put windows, some decorations and roofs on it, but you will also find pre-built buildings that you can dismantle piece by piece, drill through and have a roller coaster ride through,” explains Johannes Reithmann, Creative Director of Park Beyond. This system is used to create roller coasters and allows easy adjustment of pitch, yaw, pitch and track loops.

Another feature of Park Beyond is that it offers resources of various themes for players to design entire districts with the same theme or intermix all kinds of elements. At all times you have to keep in mind the “Imposification”, a function that can be applied to everything from roller coasters to stores and even employees. “This is a concept where technology, money and gravity are not insurmountable obstacles,” says Reithmann.
