June 7 (Portaltic/EP) –

samsung has presented the news of its line of Bespoke appliancesfocused on sustainability and facilitating the daily life of users with smart appliances such as the new Jet AI vacuum cleaner and microplastic filter for laundry Microfiber Filter.

This has been shown by the technology company in the third edition of the annual event of the Bespoke range of household appliances, in which it has underlined its objective of transform the lives of users with “sustainability, connectivity and design”. In addition to promoting a “healthier and more eco-conscious” planet using recycled materials and promoting energy savings through the use of its products.

Specifically, Samsung has valued the company’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions throughout the product life cycle. To do this, it has redesigned each stage, from supply and production to distribution, use and recycling, to reduce CO2 emissions.

For example, it has been incorporated bioplastic material from used oils in refrigerator storage baskets Bespoke. Likewise, another action that has been carried out is to send the products in ecological packaging, replacing plastic tape with paper.

Regarding the operation of household appliances, focused on saving energy at home, Samsung has presented five new Bespoke productsWhat are they refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and air conditionerswhich have a improved version of SmartThings AI Energy Mode and that they will be available in 65 countries, including Spain.

An example of the SmartThings AI Energy Mode feature is the ‘AI Ecobubble’ technology, a washing mode that is capable of save up to 70 percent energy using the necessary hot water.

MICROFIBER FILTER

Continuing with the objective of improving the sustainability of its household appliances, Samsung has also presented the device Microfiber Filter, developed together with Patagonia clothing manufacturing company and focused on fighting microplastic pollution.

Specifically, it is a external filter for washing machines capable of capturing the microfibers that come off the fabrics of the clothes during wash cycles. In fact, according to the data provided by the company, it is capable of reducing microfibers in clothing by 54 percent in each wash, preventing them from reaching the ocean.

Its operation is based on a filter with blades that captures microplastics with a mesh of around 65 micrometers, to redirect and compress them “efficiently”. As a result, the filter only needs to be cleaned at least once a month.

This device is already available in Korea, but it will come to Europe this same month of June. Furthermore, it is compatible not only with Samsung washing machines, but also with those of other brands on the market.

HYPERCONNECTED HOMES

On the other hand, Samsung is reinforcing connectivity across the full range of Bespoke appliancesas well as expanding its capabilities with Artificial Intelligence (AI), all this to create “hyperconnected” homes that improve the day-to-day life of users.

Specifically, this connection is carried out through the Samsung SmartThings technology, with which I know offer 20 routines and automated experienceswhich the user will only have to start from the application for the appliances to start working.

The devices are capable of learn user usage patterns and, based on this, propose automations of your activities in accordance with your smart home and lifestyle.

For example, as you have shown in the presentation, the vacuum cleaner can start working automatically even if the user is not at home. Likewise, the user can activate the air conditioning minutes before arriving at your home to have a comfortable temperature. To achieve all this, Samsung has announced that it is implementing WiFi in all new appliances from the Bespoke range.

Following this line, Samsung has also announced that it has included AI in seven categories of its products such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, vacuum cleaners and air conditioners. This offers the possibility of carrying out actions such as adding detergent to the washing machine automatically and with the right amount.

another of the new AI has been implemented in ovenswhich have a internal chamber that allows the user to see in real time how their food is being cooked. It also allows you to record videos in fast motion and is capable of recognize food being cooked to intelligently program the ovenwith the necessary temperature and time.

BESPOKE JET AI

During the event Samsung has also launched its new Bespoke Jet AI vacuum cleanerwhich he has defined as the “most powerful cordless vacuum on the market” and, as he stressed, the first in the world verified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for AI.

This vacuum cleaner combines up to 280W of suction power With 730W motor power and one autonomy of up to one hundred minutes. However, Samsung has detailed that the motor only has a weight of 150g to allow a more comfortable use.

Regarding its design, this model uses the Active Dual Brush, which offers “effective on all types of floors” cleaning, with integrated LED lighting to highlight dust in dark areas. It also includes the Slim LED Brushwhich is more manageable, also with LED lighting.

Besides, his AI cleaning mode he is able to intelligently monitor brush load and suction air pressure based on cleaning environment in which it is being used. That is, the type of floor or if you are vacuuming on a rug or carpet. In this way, it makes it easy for the user to maximize cleaning performance, usage time and maneuverability with the device.

The Bespoke Jet AI, is accompanied by the Clean Stationa new ‘all-in-one’ cleaning station that produces “a powerful rotating cyclone” to empty the garbage can “instantly and efficiently”.

The Jet AI vacuum cleaner will be available for global markets, including Europe, Australia and the United States, and its pre-purchase will be made available to users in the middle of this month of June. It will also be launched in the “timeless” color Satin Black.

Samsung has also highlighted the scope of design on your appliances with a “dynamic and distinct” approach in each range of products. Thus, the company has focused its attention on refrigerators, expanding its range with the launch of Bespoke 4-Door Flex with Family Hub+, as well as new side-by-side and top-mounted models.

He Bespoke 4-Door Flex with Family Hub+ has a 32 inch touch screen no bezels that “nearly double the size of the previous model.” This screen shows multitasking functions, from information to images or videos.
