The new of Synology the brand arrives BeeDrive formed by a small device designed to facilitate backup copies of both PC and mobile. No need for complicated configurations or extra devices.

The BeeDrive It is a small external SSD with WiFi connectivity that connects to the local network or via USB-C and that allows you to make backup copies of files and photos from your smartphone and PC, allowing external access from anywhere or working as a mini NAS to share files on the network.

All this locally and without the need for subscription services and with the privacy guarantees that having the data physically at hand gives.

It will be available in two capacities with 1TB and 2TB, and all in a size of just 65 x 65 x 15mm. Despite these small dimensions, the BeeDrive is capable of reaching up to 1,050 MB/s of sequential access thanks to the use of an SSD inside and its USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (USB 3.1) port with 10 Gbps bandwidth .

As standard, for the PC the BeeDrive works with both Windows 10 1809 and later and Windows 11. Later it will come to MacOS. As for mobile devices, there is a BeeDrive app for iOS 15 or later and Android 10 and later.

The BeeDrive will be available from June 7 with protection for falls from up to 2 meters high
