The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI)through his Twitter account, announced the extension of the suspension of the Papiros toll, between the city of Barranquilla and the municipality of Colombian Port.

This means that this toll will continue to be suspended until the next June, 15due to compliance with the term requested by the Accidental Subcommittee of the Third Committee of the Senate to advance the corresponding studies that are related to the financial impact that has to do with the setting of a differential rate of 1,800 pesos for vehicle categories 1 and 2; the same ones that before paid 2,400 pesos.

This extension was made official by the Ministry of Transport through a resolution issued on May 30 and signed by the Minister William Camargo.

The measure, according to the ANI, will allow progress in working groups with the Accidental Subcommittee between government entities and congressmen of the Third Commission, to subsequently socialize measures with the community and with the transporters.
