Runt 2.0 arrives: this is how the new transit platform will work

The concession operation begins on May 23 Runt 2.0 SAS, from the Single National Traffic Registry (Runt), that will offer solutions with greater integrationadaptability and that it gets closer and closer to the citizens and actors of the sector, to carry out all the transit and transport procedures in a safe, efficient, agile and friendly manner.

From May 23, citizens must enter the Runt through the new website www.runt.gov.co.

This domain change will bring with it an interface that is easier to handle and a
new image;
however, content such as citizen consultations to access owner and vehicle data and other information of interest to citizens and entities in the sector will continue to function.

“In the next few days, what is considered the brain of transport will have a major change in its operator. However, it is important to highlight that citizens will not have changes in the way they carry out their procedures before the Transit Organisms,
Traffic Support Organizations (Automotive Diagnostic Centers, Driver Recognition Centers and Automotive Education Centers) and other entities that interact with the Runt platform. These entities will continue to provide their sector paperwork services as they have been doing up to now.”
said the Vice Minister of Transportation, Eduardo Enríquez Caicedo.

Also, the new concession will develop a mobile application for greater interaction and closeness in the provision of the service. Also will make available more virtual service channels such as: WhatsApp and ‘chatbots’.

And it will locate 8 digital kiosks so that citizens can access direct services with the Runt and other changes that will be reflected in a better service.
