Alice Chambersan Australian architect based in Londonwas arrested by the british police while attending the coronation of Charles III mistaking her for a protester Just Stop Oil. The woman, a monarchist, was in prison for 13 hours being considered “a potential person to cause a breach of the peace”.
Chambers assures that, suddenly, the agents pounced on her and the rest of the individuals that surrounded her. She assures that, despite providing them with all their personal information and “explaining to them that I had no relationship with the protesters”, was equally handcuffed.
After being interviewed, the agents were able to check that it was a mistake and that Alice was one more spectator of the event. Despite the excuse me by the police force, Chambers has requested a investigation about police behavior. “No one should suffer a prolonged arrest for the simple fact of being an innocent bystander,” she denounces.
At least 19 participants of the Just Stop Oil protest (the movement advocates the cessation of oil and gas production) were detained in London during the demonstration during the coronation ceremony of Charles III, reports Sky News.

From Scotland Yard they have reported that they are “the officer who arrested her belonged to the lincolnshire police and, therefore, the complaint was passed to the corresponding force to investigate the facts.”
The inspector simon outenof the Lincolnshire police, said that after receiving the complaint “they have opened a process to review the incident”, Outen assures that they are “in contact with the complainant to establish all the details of their accusations”.
