Prince William has participated in the celebration of the coronation of his father, King Carlos III, with a speech in which he has shown his pride in the now crowned monarch, after a historic celebration this Saturday.
Speaking during the celebration concert this Sunday, the Prince of Wales wanted to show his pride with an emotional “Dad, we are all so proud of you”, after extolling his service to the country for fifty years, both through his foundation solidarity as carrying the fight against climate change as a flag.
“And perhaps most important of all,” she continued, “my father has always understood that people of all faiths, all backgrounds, and all communities deserve to be celebrated and supported.”
He has also recalled, in the words of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, that “a coronation is a declaration of our hopes for the future”, ensuring that “I know that she is up there, watching us, and she would be a very proud mother right now “.
Likewise, he has expressed his “pride and gratitude” to the millions of people who serve both in the Armed Forces and “in classes, hospitals and local communities.”
The coronation concert has brought together artists of all stripes to perform in honor of the new king. Among them, Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli and Lionel Richie have met at Windsor Castle Take That, as well as artistic institutions such as the Royal Shakespeare Company or the Royal Opera.
Throughout the country, the celebration has also been seen, with a light show and more than 1,000 drones at important monuments throughout the British territory.
