WhatsApp adds new features in surveys and file sharing

WhatsApp has implemented a novelty in its messaging application with which it allows you to add comments to documents and multimedia files that are forwarded and create one-vote polls.

The polls are one of the elements that the technology company has updated this Thursday, with the possibility of creating one-vote polls, in which people can vote only once, as reported in a press release.

To locate a survey, WhatsApp already has a specific filter for this type of content in the search bar from the ‘Chats’ tab. And to know the latest results as people vote, the platform offers notifications to keep up with the progress.

WhatsApp has also updated file sharing so that users can now add a comment before sending a document via chat. You can also include a comment when you forward a photo or video.

These new features have been implemented this Thursday and will be available to all WhatsApp users in the coming days.
